2 of my favorites

Round Table
I found this little round table at a consignment store here in Cedar. I loved it from the moment I laid my eyes on it. It was $20 bucks but I knew until I finished some other projects I shouldn't get wrapped up in another. Anyways...weeks went by and every time I drove by this consignment store it was still sitting there outside with other stuff. It still hadn't sold. Finally after wanting and wanting I just went for it. This time luck was on my side. It had been marked down to $10. I walked right to the lady inside and told her I wanted it. She told me she had just barely changed the price right before I walked in. Is that meant to be or what?!
Before
AfterVanity
I found this piece at DI for $45 dollars and threw a fit until I got it. Literally! My husband couldn't believe what I possibly wanted with it but I just told him to trust me. My mom had a desk just like this when she was little. I had a blast with this desk and only dreamed of what it could become. I am thrilled with how it turned out.

Middle
I always wanted glass knobs for this but bought these knobs for it instead. I didn't love them so I switched to my original plan....glass knobs.
After...with glass knobs
Added a few things and viola....LOVE IT!
Little lamp...$2 @ yard sale
Mirror... Ross for Christmas
Frame...Hobby Lobby
Chair...Ross!

Couple project down....a lifetime more to go :)

Knob Hanger
I found this piece of wood with these lines in it in my dad's wood shop so I decided to have a little fun with it. Painted & stained it and added knobs so it can hold Paisley's cute little things.
Food Tray
Found this wooden tray at DI for $2 and wanted to paint it yellow just like my sisters. She bought a big beautiful one prior so when I found this I tried to mimic hers. I wish I had a picture of hers but then mine would look awful.

As of lately

Paisley's personality blooms more everyday. In the morning when she wakes up she will kiss and blow on my face and crawl all over me so I'll wake up. It is so hilarious and it puts the biggest smile on my face even though I sometimes wish she'd fall back to sleep. Yes...she is sleeping next to me. Say what you want and I know it but what do you do?! :)

She is teething right now and you can see the 2 upper teeth about to pop out. So far she has the 2 bottom but we're about to have 4 total. She has been so sick and I hate to see her so miserable. Today when she napped she would throw an absolute fit every time I put her down. I would finally get her down and then she would cough and wake up.
This afternoon nap I finally was able to put her down with her staying asleep. It took a couple tries but I got it. This stage is so much fun and I know she will be walking in a matter of weeks or a couple months.

Whenever an older person, usually the grandpas, see her they comment on how precious she is. It is so cute to see that they want to make sure us younger generations know how important a child is. I want to do everything I can to tell them and make sure they know that I agree with them and that I'll protect her with my life.

When Doug gets home from work it is so cute to see him throw a fit over her and to see her crawl as fast as she can to her Dad. They are so cute together and best buds. Doug could literally play with her for hours. When he gets home he'll pick her up and take her to each mirror so she can see herself. Everyday!! It's their routine. You are a lucky girl Paisley. You have your dad wrapped around your fingers.

Paisley doesn't cry a lot. But when she does you can make her happy in a second and she'll be all smiles again. I've been doing this new thing with her where I take her to our family picture at my mom and dad's house and point to the baby (who was my niece Allie at the time) and then to me-mom, and then to Grandma & Grandpa. She will laugh. She loves when you show her babies.
I treasure her little laugh.

I put her in a clothes basket today on top of my laundry and pulled it to my bedroom and she laughed. She was kind of sick and had just woke up so it was kind of raspy and flemmy but so adorable. I wish I had it on video.

I love you Paisley!

Paisley's 1st Barbie

Aunt Kari gave Paisely her first Barbie for Christmas. How appropriate! Kari and I loved Barbie's. We used to beg our parents until they would take us to get the newly recent one we spotted in the store. This particular Barbie Kari gave her is a bride Barbie with flowers, a veil, high heels and a brush. I love it myself!
Thanks Aunt Kari!

What a crack up!

I know it's picture overload but when it's your own little girl there aren't enough! Paisley was cracking us up talking so load and standing on all four's. She is literally the best thing in our lives and we can't get enough of her. She loves to play with door stoppers and make so much noise with them.
