Kari's Pinning Ceremony

Dental Hygiene Program

Paisley and I along with my parents and my sister Dani were able to attend Kari's Pinning Ceremony this last weekend. Kari has been in the Dental Hygiene Program for the last 2 years @ Dixie State College. We were not able to go to her graduation sadly :( but we do want her to know how proud of her we are! She is so beautiful, talented and so smart.I'm so lucky to be her twin sister. I love you Kari!!

Kari has an inside joke with her class that is so funny. She was begged to walk her slow motion walk with her blink and wave. If she did it she would get her TWIX. She was allowed extra time and when she did it they played "Chariots of Fire" instead of the other music. It was absolutely hilarious. She didn't want to do it but we all pleaded with her. It was so great!
Instead of my dad escorting her, he walked behind her allowing her to do her thing and he actually did it as well. It was funny and cute!

Mr. Wilson..
The man who played Chariots of Fire and gave Kari the Twix if she'd do her walk. He is so funny. During the ceremony when there was time to waste...He'd stand up, look at Kari and sniff the twix. We would all just laugh. I don't think the rest of the audience fully understood what was going on until after she did "the walk" and Mr. Wilson hugged her and gave her the twix. It was so cute.
