Runnin Partner

We didn't even make it half way through our jog when Paisley insisted on getting out of her car seat. I held her for a while, gave her a shoulder ride and she even walked a while. Her little sweat suit is so stinking cute and she fills it out perfectly. I think she loves it just as much as I do....Well, almost!
She is too adorable!

It's important that I let her out sometimes!
Once she wanted out and when I finally convinced her to sit back in her stroller- a little while later she climbed out the front through the bottom and somehow I managed to run her over. Soooo sad!

Sleeping Peacefully

This is our little wrecking crew when it's all said and done!

Our little Disaster

 Every mother knows this can happen within a matter of seconds. Yep!
I swear sometimes she does it just because she knows I just cleaned it or that it makes me unhappy!
 However, I'm glad she is having fun!

Ward Carnival

This last Saturday we took Paisley {aka our little watermelon} to our ward carnival and she looked soo cute! We had chili, cornbread cupcakes and all sorts of good stuff.
Paisley @ the Cake Walk. She one a couple of times but we were too full so we didn't redeem our cupcake!

 Paisley fishing for a prize
 Her prize: Crazy glasses!
  Paisley with her pals Baya & Ever {Nijna Turtles}
  Look at Baya trying to pull her brother up. So funny!

We love FACETIME

 Paisley and I facetime a lot. We love it. This was a snapshot I got of Aunt Kari while she was being silly.
I got a chance to talk to my brother Bron and his sweet little Lilly one night! She is soooo funny and it was a blast to see and talk to her!

Wowza!!!

Paisley loves to try and put our clothes on herself but noooo...this one was the work of Dad! She loved it!

Love her

I love the way her hand is tucked under her cheek and how her hair is a mess. So cute!

Funny Things @ 19 months

* The other day I told Paisley to go get her shoes {which she usually does} so we could put them on and go, but this time I look over and she is putting on my flip flops.

* In the bottom right hand drawer of our computer desk is a couple flash lights of different kinds and a measuring tape that Paisley always likes to get out and play with. Well, I was walking out the door and stopped to wait for her. As she was walking out she noticed they were out so she quickly stopped and put them all back in the drawer and closed it. I wished I had it on video.

*We keep our clothes baskets in our closet because there is no room. If we leave the closet door open for even a second she will pull them all out to play with. The closet door and bedroom door are close to each other so sometimes she can't get them out and it is so funny how frustrated she gets and yells.

*When I do laundry and hang up the clothes in the closet Paisley will shut me in the closet and then walk or run away. I feel a little bump against my back as the door hits me pushing me further in the closet. I open the closet time and time again only for her to run right back and do it again.

*Paisley is good at throwing things away for me when I ask her too. Sometimes she even does it when I don't ask her and then her shoes wind up in there or perhaps toys, the remotes, or whatever else she feels like throwing away. Occasionally I even find her bottle. She also likes to take things out like Doug's pop cans and she if she can squeeze out a little extra juice. :)

*Since she does so well with throwing things away I added more to the list. She now can throw things in the dirty clothes. Awesome!

a.k.a. baby recliner

When little Skylar came to visit we pulled out our old baby car seat for her to use but when she left Paisley couldn't take her eyeballs off of it. When ever she would see it in the guest bedroom {because I hadn't put it away yet} she would drag it out into the living room and just hang out in it. It was like her own little personal recliner.

Grandma & Grandpa bought Paisley her first wagon and we must say it has changed our lives. We LOVE it!

ViSiToRs!!!

Grandpa Dean, Grandma Deb, Aunt Devyn and baby Skylar came to visit us! We were so excited! Paisley and I took Doug to school and went on our run. We were super motivated to hurry because our visitors would be here around noon. We waited very impatiently anticipated a knock on the door and finally they were HERE! Yay! Their flight was actually an all night long kind of thing. They left Utah @ midnight the night before and flew all through the night with a couple layovers so when they got here Thursday we gave them time to relax and rest. We took Doug his lunch where it was so exciting to see him reunite with his family. We visited for awhile in the heat and then came home for a nice long nap. This trip was so much fun for me! It was so nice to have family here and show them all around our new world. Friday morning we all hung out and relaxed. We took Doug his lunch and then walked to the law bookstore where we all got some Ave Maria gear and showed them a little around campus :) After lunch the gals hit the mall. Grandma Deb insisted on taking me birthday shopping which was so sweet. We all laughed and shopped until we dropped and let Paisley take a little ride.
 When we got home we put the girls in their Halloween outfits Grandma bought them and hit Red Lobster. It's a must for Doug when our parents come! :) It was delicious! I think Paisley was a little unsure of Sky at first but then ended up LOVING her!
Paisley loves watching the Lobsters
 Saturday rolled around and we hit the beach. Doug of course had to study so we went without him but we still had fun. We all came home with sore feet from digging our feet in the sand to find awesome seashells. And by awesome...I mean the kind where crabs live in them so we had to come home and boil them out. Yuck! Thank heavens Grandma is tough...we made her do it. The water was so warm. We could have stayed all day! Deb and Dean didn't wear their swimsuits but pretty much acted like they did. :) Deb was drenched in a matter of minutes after battling those waves. Haha! {Dev didn't get to swim much. #1 she wanted to keep Sky out of the sun so she wouldn't get a sunburn and #2....she was afraid of the animals and fish in the water. :) Love ya Dev!!}
 We came home, showered and waited for Doug to come home from the library. When he got home his parents took us to Best Buy where they bought Doug a very nice birthday gift. An iphone! His phone was almost done for so this was nice! He was so excited. We then hit the grocery store for some Spaghetti for dinner and Ribs for Sunday Dinner. Yum!
Fun Aunt Dev {gotta love her}
 We came home, ate dinner and got in our pj's. This is Paisley putting diapers on her stuffed animals. :)
 We all laughed @ Dean because he thinks he is a lot bigger than he is. He bought these Ave Maria sweat pants in which Deb & Devyn could each take a let. They tried them on and we all had a good laugh. Okay we laughed harder after we saw the pictures. I wonder why! WHOOPS!
We stayed up WAY to late laughing and carrying on. We even got a knock on the door which I'm sure was the neighbors. Sorry!
  Guilty! We missed church. We all slept in! We had an eventful Sunday though- I'm not going to lie. Doug and his dad did a little golfing and the girls went to lunch @ Panera Bread. We hit a few stores and met the boys at the golfing store. Paisley is missing her diapers in these because her shorts were wet. Paisley loved the putting green. She was so mad when we had to take away the golf balls when it was time to leave. So sad!
 Later Sunday evening we went down to the Pier but missed the sunset. We still had fun though and it was absolutely beautiful!
I love this picture of Grandpa Dean!
  Paisley tried on her costume for the first time that Grandma & Grandpa bought her for Halloween!
 On Monday we all kind of just hung out again. Doug took the day off of school because luckily some classes were canceled and he was able to. Anyways, we had a good day. We hit Costco where Grandma and Grandma once again bought Paisley more toys. :) They showed her this big bear and she wouldn't allow us to put it back.....so....we brought the bear home. We are in love with it. So cuddly!
 Grandma reading to Paisley Tuesday morning before they left! It was breaking my heart!
  They left around 10:00 on Tuesday morning and needless to say it was SO SAD! I cried and cried. I had to come in and call my mom to comfort me. I can honestly say that I have the best in laws in the world. I love them like my own. I am always so excited to spend time with them and always sad to leave them. I want to tell them thank you so much for coming to see us and loving me like your own child. You are incredibly good to me and I couldn't be more grateful. I love you!
