Crazy Sleeper

A Mother's Best Friend

The 2 of us before church!

Paisley's Books

Paisley loves her books. She walks into her room and pulls them off her shelf.

Adorable

Dani captured this picture on her phone! Hahaha :) I LOVE her!

Stairs Monster

We were sitting at Dani's house and Paisley took off. We could hear her just talking at the top of her lungs. Doug asked where she was and I said probably half way up the stairs by now. We hurry over and she is all the way up yelling at us through the railings. It was pretty hilarious- Once we discovered she was safe of course!

Green little Pickle

Uncle Buck or Paisley?

My parents were looking through old pictures when they found this! They were dying at how much this picture of my brother Buck looks like Paisley! How fun is that! Buck was the cutest little boy EVER!

This morning I woke up to this!

She is sleeping like she is some sort of straight jacket. It was soo cute! I couldn't help but kiss her like a million times.

She LOVES washcloths

She likes to be up high where I am so I put her in the sink while I was doing stuff right buy her and she was loving life with the scrubber and dishrag.
These dish rags were wet and she just likes to walk around with them and play. She was MAD AT ME once I took them away! Yikes! So I gave them back! Ha! :)

Odds & Ends of Pickle

Kylee's gift to Paisley

My little preschool student Kylee gave this cute little outfit to Paisley for her birthday. It was so cute when she told me she had her a birthday gift in her backpack. What a sweetheart. This was the cute little ladybug outfit that she got for Paisley!

Pickle and Izzy!

Paisley loved Dogs! Bottom line! Madi's Dog Zoey will growl and bark at her and Paisley will somehow still continue to follow her but Izzy seems to take the abuse!

BROKEN NOSE?

One Saturday night in Delta at about 10 or 11 p.m. (the weekend of Grandma's funeral) Doug and I went on another traditional basketball workout. We were having lots of fun and laughing until he went for a fake and I went for the ball. The side of his head hit smack dab in the middle of my nose. He was holding his head in pain and I was holding my nose in AGONY! I asked him if he was okay while blood was gushing from my face and then said, "Hun, I think I broke my nose!" He immediately said, "I do too!" He saw all the blood and realized he didn't have much to complain about and quickly forgot about his head. He laid my on the floor and had me put pressure. He was terrified. There was so much blood he was afraid I was going to bleed out. We called his Dad to come check it out and Doug mopped up all the blood. I was so overwhelmed. The pain, the frustration....everything came pouring out and I was bawling. You can see the cut on my nose too. These pictures are so awful but I really wanted to document this. I didn't like to put make up over it and look like I was hiding an abusive husband.

The morning after it happened
and so on.... (I feel like the pics don't do it justice to just how bad it REALLY looked even though these look bad.)
I told Doug that it is so embarrassing to go to stores where everyone stares. His complain was, "bad for you? Try being me! Everyone looks at you and then looks at me with disgust. I can't even tell them I didn't do it!!"
We've laughed about that one. When people walk by and I'm with Doug I like to say things like..."You better watch it Doug or I'll give YOU a broken nose!" Doug doesn't like those games...NOT AT ALL! He has felt so bad and has pampered me so well!

We went to Insta-care the following Monday but they told us that we have to wait for the swelling to go down. It's been a little over two weeks now and I need to go see if it's broken...which I'm sure it is. The bruises are almost gone but the bony protrusion on my nose?...yep, it's still there!

My little monkey!

This is Paisley tapping on the window because Grandma Deb and Connor are outside!
Look at those legs! Are you kidding me? She is so cute!

Toy Drawer

Paisley knows right where the toy drawer is at Grandma Deb's.

Golf Season Again.....:)

We went out to Sunset View golf course again in Delta. My first time back for the year and I'm loving life now that it's time to golf again. It was Paisley's first time golfing and she was loving it. On the putting green we'd let her loose and she'd book it to get the balls. She loved driving the golf cart and had a blast. I can't wait for many more golfing trips with her.

Ducky

We were in Delta and went shopping at good ol' ALCO and Paisley saw all the stuffed animals there for Easter. Well she just had to hold one. Grandpa Dean was determined to buy her one. We told him not too because she already has some. She loves them but what child doesn't? Anyways, when we took it away from her she was soo sad so naturally we gave it back to her. I didn't think it was the cutest one on the shelf so I tried to give her a cuter one. When I put the bunny back with the blue bows that she originally had she pointed and pointed at it for us to give it back to her. I gave it back to her and put back the yellow ducky I thought was cuter and she pointed for it as well. Finally grandpa had a brilliant idea-'let's let her choose!' He put both behind his back and when he put them both in front of her for her to choose she outsmarted us and reached for both. We all laughed so hard. I gave her the cuter of the two and we left. Since she liked them both I told the boys Mamma gets to choose. :)
She loves this Duck. She cuddles it and hugs it and it is so funny. When she is sad I can always make her feel better with "Ducky!" I even give it to her in the middle of the night when she is sad and she'll kind of laugh.
