Pickle and her apple

Doug brought in all the groceries and usually Paisley will drag them over to the kitchen. Area for me but this time she quit early! Why? She found the apples! :) we were laughing at how cute all the little bite marks were! She is so much fun!

She is eager to eat the strawberries when she sees them in the grocery cart and we don't even take her by the pickles because she LOVES them!

My baby

I love taking naps with Paisley even though I'm sad she won't fall asleep in her crib alone anymore! However, I love waking up to this even if she is laying across me!

Cheese?

Someone found the string cheese this morning. She always wants some and yet spits it out most of the time!
She was doing pretty good until I found this right when I had vacuumed this spot already!

Water girl

I hate refilling the fridge with enter but good news....Paisley loves it! She did it all by herself. The only thing I did was open the packaging and push back the water so she could put more in. After she was done she even threw away the trash! Hahaha! Doug and I couldn't believe it. Proud mother moment! :)

Ta-Da!

Simple pleasures

I love that's little one can do random funny things that make me laugh because she thinks their funny too....like sticking her two pointer fingers up her nose an then say "hello!"

I love that she will throw things away when I ask her too and even put dirty clothes in the dirty clothes basket!

The other day when I needed to change her diaper she even laid down for me all by herself! I didn't have to grab her! She knew it needed to be changed and was willing to help a mother out!

I love that when she wants to get me up she will find my hand. She will grab either my pinky or my thumb and wrap her whole hand around it it and then lift up! It's so precious.

What a gal wants

I think we know what Paisley wants for Christmas! :) We saw this in Costco and I about died. Paisley was in heaven!

Binky buddies

I was cleaning out my diaper bag and Paisley found one of her binky's. Whenever she finds one she'll play with it for awhile. I found one too and showed her. She took both for awhile but then came and put one in my mouth! She wanted me to have one too!

Jammin' out

I let her play and organize the fridge again but knew I better go check things out! Somehow she managed to open a jar if jam that had not yet been opened......She must have dropped it perfectly to untwist it. Unfortunately for me it worked and I was stuck with this! I immediately looked over the kitchen to see how far it ha spread and we were pretty lucky! I sat her up at the sink and went to work! I told myself to enjoy the moment and capture some pictures instead of getting mad and I'm so glad I did! Memories for years! When I was little I got in my moms fridge and broke her eggs! My mom was so mad. I ran to Kari and said "Babe mom's mad at us" and she said "Oh no babe! What did we do?" Only it wasn't a joint thing....it was a ME thing! Sorry mom!!! This must be natures way of paying me back!

Milk man

Paisley likes to organize my fridge but Doug and I were laughing when we saw her trying to handle the milk! She actually carried it out to the living room!

Quite a day

It all started in the morning when things were crazy and just making me exhausted and on edge! However, we got through the morning. After taking dad his lunch and having our nap we took a trip to Joann's fabric. Chaotic again!!! I looked like THAT mother who couldn't control her child who wanted to run aimlessly all over the store while her mother was on the phone! I quickly hung up and tried to regain control. We decided to leave but I still had to purchase my zipper. i thought oh forget it and just wanted to put it back but saw that Pais had managed to destroy the packaging with her slobber! So we stood In line, purchases the zipper and left. I stood by my car holding Paisley while digging in my diaper bag to find the keys and was unsuccessful! Finally I set her on the car while I'm sure someone called child services! Nothing happened to her but still a stupid move! I finally found my keys in my pocket and once we were in the road I realizes I left the purchased zipper in the shopping cart. Aaaah!! we finally got home and I talking to my sister Mandi on the phone just needing some adult interaction while letting Pais play because I had quite the the day with her! When I hung up the phone I came out in the living room to this..... AWESOME!

So tender

I love when I look in the back seat and see this...so tired! We were taking Dad his lunch and she didn't quite make it to see him before she was out. She is the most precious thing- Especially when she sleeps! Oh I love her!


On another trip to see dad for lunch we were laughing at her peering out the window!

Family fun at home

Grandma and Grandpa bought Paisley these blocks when they were out here and we pulled them out again yesterday to play! Paisley was having a blast but I think Dad had an even better time! He built this...... Pretty impressive eh? :)
It didn't take long for Paisley to come and knock it down!

Ball Hoarder

We went to run some errands and stopped in at Golfsmith! It's a fun golf store with a large putting green and other stuff! Paisley loves the putting greens and tries to pick up all the balls! She can only hold 2 in a hand at a time so you can imagine the struggle when she finds ANOTHER ball! Doug will try to do some pitting and she will run and try to take his ball too! She cried when we took the balls away so we could leave but thank heavens a worker came over and asked if she could have a sucker! He saved our lives! On one of the putting green poles is this little Superman character and when Paisley saw it she started laughing! It was so funny!

Dress up

Paisley and I were doing some organizing and had a little fun with this combo! She loved wearing it! She finally, after playing in it for awhile, had me take it off because I think it itched!

1 little monkey .....

....Jumping on the bed! Don't worry nobody got hurt! Paisley woke up from her nap and when I went in to get her she was throwing everything out of her crib- bottle, pillow, Ducky, Eore, blanket and bedding quilt- and started jumping on the mattress! Oh great! :)

Ahem!!!

I was in my room laying on my bed looking through my phone when Paisley comes in and makes some sort of "excuse me" noise to get me to look at her! It sounded kind of like "Ahem!" :) She found her sunglasses and had put them on and came to show me how funny! It was quite comical!

Presidential Election 2012

I am very saddened and disappointing with the turnout of Presidential election. I was one of the millions who had hope that Governor Mitt Romney would become the next president. When he lost I honestly couldn't help but start crying. Man I struggled. I dread even writing this post because I am still so upset and hurt. I publicly want to say Thank You to Governor Romney for all you hard work, dedication, hope, faith and passion in and for this country. Thank you for all the time, hard work, money and effort you put forth in this campaign. I feel truly blessed and honored that such a great man {and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints} would represent us to lead and support us in such a great cause. I am grateful for the man you are, what you stand for, the leader you are, and what you have done for us. My heart hurts for America at this time. I pray you will run again but from the bottom of my heart and with the deepest and most sincere gratitude I thank you.

My heart hurts for Governor Romney. All he wants is what is best for our country.
Call me weird but I have super big attachment issues. I woke up with a cloud over my head the day after elections and I'm still so sad. As I drove down the streets I felt like their was a mist of darkness all around us and found myself wondering how people could even smile that day. I need to continue to see his face in political purposes. I want to bad to become his friend. I wish I could meet him and write him a letter but let's be honest. There are probably thousands doing that. I am so sad and disappointing in Americans. Nobody wants to work hard anymore. They want everything handed to them and they want this countries beliefs and morals changed. If people don't like America and the way things are here then they should leave and find another place where those things are accepted. But this is America. Our country was established by the hand of God. Our constitution in which our country was founded on is slowly dwindling and President Obama doesn't care what our fore fathers have done for us. People say he is still a good man and that just because people have different political beliefs doesn't mean they are stupid but I have to say that I am pretty dumb-founded then whey they have chosen and re-elected this man for another 4 years. Stupid? I think so! I would even dare go as far as to say I think he is an evil man. I pray not!  I can't help but think that God must be angry. We as a whole must not be worthy enough to be lead by a worthy man.
Now that it's all over I will try and be positive and pray that President Obama will be successful and lead our country to victory. Somehow I want people to see that it was a mistake that they re-elected him but I will suck up my pride and pray these next for years will be better than the last 4 years.

I'm grateful that I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and that no matter what happens I'm on the winning team. I know that if I live the gospel and do my best I will be safe! I don't know how people can be comforted without the Lord and his plan for all of us! 

This is my opinions and feelings and I just wanted to document them. If you disagree I don't really care but here it is!

Trip to Ace
