Halloween 2011

Happy Halloween yesterday!....Costume?...FLOP! Sensitive subject!
As most people know Paisley was going to be a white tail deer. We found this outfit and Sportsman's when we were pregnant with her and fell in love with it. We thought it would be just perfect for Halloween and everything. Well, earlier this month we wanted to try it on just for fun thinking it would probably drowned her. Well, to our surprise, it was a little snug. We laughed and laughed at how adorable she was in it and even when we took it off she still wanted to laught and so she did. She giggled and giggled. It was so funny. To be safe I tried to exchange it for a bigger size but they were out so I just thought dang...it'll be kind of tight and she probably won't be able to keep the hoodie on. WRONG! Yesterday evening I go to put in on her and NOTTA. Not only can I not zip it up but I can't even put her arms all the way through it because it wouldn't even fit up on her shoulders. She didn't like it either..it was obvious. However, I took pictures of it anyway so we could remember how it fit and how cute it was. I was so sad. I hurried to her bedroom and got the NINJA outfit Michelle Kelsch let me have and thank heavens it fit. I grabbed a black beanie and threw it on with it. Yes it is a boys costume but we had to improvise. Doug had to remind me that it was more for me at this age then for her but still. I was sad. My baby's first Halloween and her mom fell through. Sorry Pais. Your mom won't let you down next year. I promise!

Look closely..You can see where the costume is cutting off before it reaches her shoulders :(
The cute little antlers
..and it clearly can't zip up
The NINJA
She doesn't like bows and stuff on her head...hence.. she always takes them off. You can see her tugging at her hat!
