Grandma Lavee's Funeral

 My dear Grandma Hatch passed away on June 10th 2012 at the age of 88! She was one of the best Grandma's a girl could ask for. She made the best candy and was one of the best cooks known to Man. Grandma was born with some complications, one resulting in only one kidney. When her kidney finally was giving out her kids sat in the hospital with her for nearly a week watching her go in and out. It was truly one of the toughest things they have gone through. They spent time lauging, crying and reminiscing! They fell in love with their mother all over again. No matter how much you watch someone suffer you are never truly ready to let them go. I love you so much Grandma and want to say Thank You for everything! You have given me the Best mother in the world and for that I am eternally grateful! Until we meet again.....

My Mom and Aunt Jeanette gave such a wonderful talk together and my Dad did a beautiful job dedicating Grandma's Grave. Aunt Sheila, Aunt Linda and Uncle Linden gave wonderful talks as well. The funeral was beautiful. 

 

 During the funeral my little nephew Luke was walking down the isle in the back of the cultural hall waving to all the people. They smiled and waved back. It was hilarious and oh so cute!
