More Projects

Antique Stool: I found this stool in my Dads garage one day and fell in love with it. I asked him if I could have it and of course he let me. I had my husband once again powder coat it. He had to sand blast all the old paint off first. I would have kept it's originality because it was the perfect teal and rustic number. However, Doug didn't know I was keeping it like that and he decided to use it as a base to spray paint something. Anyways, I got over it and we took another route. This is it. I wish I had a before picture but I forgot. :( I'm not sure just what I'm going to do with it but I'll think of something I'm sure.
Latter Shelf: My Dad made me this latter shelf for Christmas one year and it has been my favorite thing. I was getting sick of all the black in my house so I wanted to repaint it. Don't mind the hideous paint towel.
Before
After
I was going for a burnt orange but I'm not sure if it's that. I used a light brown glaze over it and for not it will do the job. Not exactly how I'd decorate but it's a needed shelf. Not one I can use for decor.
