The Deer Hunt

I went hunting this last weekend with Doug and I had a blast. We woke up at about 5:30 on Saturday and 6:00 on Sunday...{yes, we went hunting on Sunday. I justify it by spending time with my husband.} I was only able to hunt in the mornings but Doug was able to go back each evening. Anyways, I didn't see any deer but I did see a lot of deer tracks tracks. I did see a doe track with a baby buck track right next to it. It was so precious to me and I wanted to take a picture but my camera was out of guts :( Doug will be hunting all week and has seen quite a few. I had so much fun riding the 4 wheeler with Doug and hiking and chatting. We laughed a lot and made jokes. Doug had me packing my own gun and it was fun. I felt like a true hunter. Before the hunt he took me to get thermals, boots, a hat, gloves, a camo sweater, an orange vest, socks and a fun backpack. I loved all of it. He hopes to have me come again next year and to be honest I hope I can. I loved every second of it. It was cold in the mornings but Doug was so sweet and took care of me. Thanks for such fun memories babe. I can't wait for next year.
This picture isn't the best and I wanted to capture our full gidup but I accidentally deleted the other picture. :( It was so nice not to wear make up for a few days. I wanted to post the picture for memories even though I don't have make up on and don't look that great.
Paisley stayed with Grandma Deb and Aunt Devyn in the mornings and she did so good. She drank formula for the first time and did awesome. No problems whatsoever. When we got home on Saturday she was sitting on Aunt Devyn's lap when I started calling out for her. She heard my voice and sat up straight and when she spotted me she smiled. It was the best thing in the world to come home to her. We missed her so much.
