Doug's Birthday was on Sunday, November 27th and man was it exciting! When I would go down to St. George every week for preschool I would clean my neighbors house on the side for some extra cash. I worked hard and saved money so I could surprise Doug for his birthday. I could never use our check card because he'd see what I spent and where I spent it so there was no way to surprise him except by doing it this way. I can't ask him for a bunch of money to get him gifts because we know that's not going to happen. I really wanted to get him a great gift and make him so happy on his birthday. It was so hard to keep it a secret but it all paid off. I played it off really well pretending like I didn't really have much for him. He gave me about $100 to go towards his birthday so I got him a nice gift with it but the rest came from my hard earned money.
His birthday came and man was he surprised. First I gave him Paisley's adorable card and then I brought each gift in one by one after he opened each. He had no idea what to think and was caught so off guard. He had no idea how I had done it. With the money he gave me I got him a battery charger and then his surprise included Danner Pronghorn hunting boots, and a generator. I got it all on video and I think I was just as excited as he was...if not...more so! I love you Doug!
