So church today only went for an hour as they let us out to prepare for the hurricane! It's front right quadrant, which is its worst part, is headed for us here in the south west area of Florida! We also now have a tornado warning! Oh yes... This is all just grand! I'm a little nervous having never experienced one before but I take comfort in my husband and the people around here who know how to do this!
FUNNY STORY:
Doug and I were out shopping and running errands yesterday! I was texting with my mom back and forth who has continued to keep tabs ins the hurricane! Well, she texted me and said "looks like the hurricane is going to miss you!" I was happy thinking oh this is going to be great! A couple hours later she had me rolling on the floor in the middle of TJMAXX because of what she then texted! "I was wrong. The storm is still coming!" Hahaha
I called her to find out that the sight she went to online to check out the stays of Isaac has a picture of a hurricane no where near us- as a like cover page photo! She made the mistake of thinking it was an update! I tell you this woman is like a doctor / PHD material and yet somehow...... Anyways! I loved it! We laughed sooo hard! I love you mom!
