On the Road again...destination...Tallahassee

This was the Vietnam Memorial Bridge! My dad served in an office during the Vietnam War!

The whole trip Doug kept saying how awful these roads were and how they were going to just beat up our car! Well we hit a bump in MOBILE ALABAMA and heard something! Doug noticed the steering starting to pull so we called our parents and took the first exit we could see. We had to drive through a tunnel before we got there but thank heavens we were in a city and not out in the middle of nowhere! Sure enough we blew a tire! I had to keep reminding us how smooth the ride had been thus far so if we are going to have a problem this is the one to get!

A couple mile up the road we were able to get a new tire!We wrapped the tire in cellophane that I happened to have in the car on hand from all the packing and it worked out great because I had to hold the tire on my lap because there was NO ROOM in the car! The cellophane kept me from getting all dirty! What a sight that tire was!

After about a 2 hour detour we were on the road again! We would be staying with President and Sister Jensen in Tallahassee so we informed them of the delay!
