Lousiana Part I

 My mom and I along with Paisley arrived in Lousiana late monday night where Doug and my dad picked us up at the New Orleans airport and then we headed for Donaldsonville! We stayed with Randy (my Dad's cousin) and Nell Lanoix. Their house was beautiful and so comfortable. We stayed here until Thursday morning and took off for Tallahassee!

 This is in Randy and Nell's backyard!

 This is my Aunt Ameila's Home! She is my Grandpa Nick's sister! She had us over for the Best Homemade spaghetti in the world! Love this woman!

 This is Uncle George's Store! He is my Grandpa Nick's Brother!

 When I saw these pictures hanging up inside of my grandpa and his siblings my heart broke! I miss my grandpa so much! He is the one in the middle picture on the far left in the red jacket, and the man in the very bottom picture!

 The building my Grandpa Nick and Grandma Phyllis were married in! They were not aloud to be married in the Catholic Church because my Grandma was not a member. She belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in which my grandpa eventually converted a few years after my parents were married.

 The cemetery tombstones were amazing! They reminded me of the Phantom of the Opera when Christine walks through the graveyard!

 This used to be a store my dad went to all the time as a child across from Uncle George's store!

  My Dad, Doug, Paisley and I went with Claude (my dads cousin) on his lunch break from the store to First and Last Chance Cafe. I have heard so many stories about this place. Not to mention it was the best cheeseburger I've ever had!

 Me, Aunt Lorainne, Uncle George, their son in law (I'm still learning family and names so I don't remember his! Very nice guy though) Doug and Paisley in the store! He sales school uniforms for the Ascension Catholic school! Along time ago when I was little my Grandpa Nick brought back a whole bunch for Kari and I to wear! He said he was going to get rich because all the kids in St. George would want some! :) Love you Grandpa!
