Then when we were leaving Whitecastle to head to Baton Rouge we saw this beautiful home on the way! The Nottaway Plantation home! This is the reason behind the name Whitecaslte!!!

In Baton Rouge we went to the campus of LSU! This is Mike the Tiger in his cage! He is the 6th Tiger at LSU! They say he will sleep for about 20 hours a day! CRAZY! I wished he would have woken up so Paisely could ee more of him!
My Dad's cousin Chumpy met us there to say Hello!

This is Doug inside the LSU football stadium a few days before when he came with my Dad! My mom and I hadn't arrived yet so they went touring without us! I'm grateful they did because when we went together the stadium was closed and we couldn't get in. I would have been so sad for Doug if he hadn't been able to see it!
On the way to New Orleans my dad finished off a bowl of Aunt Amelias
famous spaghetti.....with a pencil! There was nothing else to use and he
was desperate I guess!
When we got to New Orleans we drove around the Saints Dome but unfortunately didn't stop to get a picture! Then we hit Bourbon street!
We had a lot of fun! We ate some wings on Bourbon street and did minimal shopping! Doug bought me some pewter salad tossers at a little shop! I was so excited!
Once it got dark we got to our car and hit the road asap! :)
